Brothers and sisters, through Christ we are called to love one another. The Lord has shown us through His Word that we are to lend a helping hand in times of need.

Galatians 6:2-Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

COVID-19 has taken many things from us, one of which has been the loss of jobs and the cut of hours. As of April 14th unemployment claims reached towards 17 million. During this time it is crucial for us as Christians to show Christ’s love.

Colossians 3:14-And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

In this time of need Reformation Church will be providing a two week supply of food for several of our members who have suffered the loss of jobs or cut of hours. This ministry is being organized by the Lanier family, who are members of Reformation Church. The boxes will include things such as canned goods, pasta, beans, rice, and several other foods. These boxes will be delivered once we have received a count of families in need.

We encourage you to support your neighbors. That act can be done by sending a note, providing a meal for them, keeping them in your prayers, and many other small deeds that can mean a lot. Amid all the craziness, we should strive to come together as one in Christ.

Mark 12:31-The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
